I was discussing with my husband early in the morning and he said ,the world is really influencing the church big time. I had to think deeply about this and I did some analysis and it was really true.
Imagine some slangs like " steeze ,mad oooo, bad ooo e.t." being used in the world and people of the church as using it.
Imagine some dance steps being brought into the church as a way of praising God with your dance steps.
I asked a question " how many things has the world emulated from the church ? " Nothing Instead ,the world criticizes the church and downgrade the power and move of God in our churches.
We supposed to be light of the world not the world being light to the church . The believers supposed to draw the world to Christ and let them know that Christianity is not a scam.
We are not in competition with the world but we are supposed to be vessels unto Honour . If the world is looking up to us as believers and we are the ones copying their way of life ,way of talk and our standard of doing things are picked from their own way, there is nothing for them to copy.
We should be kingdom influencers . We should be radical Christians . We shouldn't bow to pressure. Let us be the positive influencers to the world.
