When God remembers you

Have you ever heard of Mike Ejeagha?  Or even a name that sounds like Mike Ejeagha?

I heard that name for the first time about two days ago.
Who is Mike Ejeagha?

Ejeagha is a Nigerian folklorist, songwriter, and musician from Enugu State. He started his music career in the fifties. Also known as Gentleman Mike Ejeagha, he was once a prominent figure on the Nigerian music landscape. One of his many songs, "Ka Esi Le Onye Isi Oche", meaning, "Don't Mock Someone Who Has Fallen", is an Igbo highlife song that was released in 1983.

The song gained widespread recognition this year due to a viral dance challenge (Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo) inspired by comedian, Brain Jotter. The dance challenge seems to be everywhere online, and that's how I got to know about Mike Ejeagha.🎈🇳🇬

I logged into my facebook.page and was seeing pictures of the man flying all over Facebook news pages. I was wondering why? I also saw  a video  of how Brain Jotter went to look for the 93 year old Ejeagha in his village, and presented him a gift of N2m. The nonagenarian was moved to tears, that he was remembered, and visited by the trending comedian and his team. If the company that recorded that song 41 years ago, or their current representatives, do not play any hanky-panky with the accruing royalties to the song, which has gone viral in the last few months, then, Mike Ejeagha and his descendants may be getting a windfall of a fortune in the near future. The man that wasn't known just became popular in a day.

Suddenly, GOD REMEMBERED him. I know, and testify of what it means to be REMEMBERED by GOD. It's beyond words. THE LORD GOD SHALL REMEMBER YOU TOO, in JESUS MIGHTY NAME.
Amen!🙏
