Acrimony means a state of bitterness or I'll feeling.

When I heard  about the movie“acrimony", I was so eager to check up the dictionary meaning before watching the movie itself.

In the process of watching the movie,I was feeling the definition of the word myself. I was bitter and sick. Why? Because the movie made me feel that way.

I know a lot of us have watched the full movie or seen the trailer or heard about it from a friend .
