Sometimes I speak in Tongues

  When I said that the bubble was about to bust, some Nigerians did not understand what I was saying.

When we voted for change, what were we expecting? Was President Buhari expected to import brand new Nigerians from the moon? It's the same Nigerian elites, most of whom are famed for indiscipline, impunity and corruption. That's what was bequeathed to President Buhari.

But the light is now shining in all our dark corners. All the evil that was swept under the carpet are now being exposed. How can we uproot corruption unless we expose CORRUPTION?

So the war on corruption is taking a new dimension.

The remnant of inherited impunity must now come to light, exposed and dealt with.
The remnant of inherited inefficiency must come to light, laid bare and dealt with.
The remnant of inherited diversion of funds must come to light, exposed and dealt with.
The remnant of inherited underground recruitment must come to the fore and be dealt with.
The remnant of inherited stealing of public funds must come to light so it can be dealt with.
The remnant of inherited nepotism must be exposed and be dealt with.

Exposing corruption is nothing to be ashamed of. Its a thing of joy that the light is shining in our dark places and exposing the unwholesome activities of anti Government practitioners in and out of government. Under President Buhari, no stone, sorry, no sin, no iniquity, no abomination shall remain hidden. They shall all come to light. And they will be dealt with.

Unless a patient suffers the symptoms of an ailment, the doctor cannot diagnose and treat correctly.

There are many Nigerians who are desperate to see President Muhammadu Buhari make a success of transforming our nation into one of their dreams. These are ordinary Nigerians whose needs are basic. They have no doubt that he is doing that and they know that the man they fondly call "Baba" means well and will do more.

But there are those who are making desperate, concerted and coordinated efforts to ensure that they damage the legacy of a good, patriotic son of Africa. They are consumed by the greed of the scale of primitive accumulation of wealth. More could have been achieved had GREED AND PERSONAL CONSIDERATIONS not consumed these elements in and outside government. From Local to State, State to Federal, the local currency is GREED wrapped in self interest.


While Nigerians, ordinary Nigerians who were choked by the effects of corruption are holding Pres. Buhari's hand and being optimistic for the future, these shareholders who are Executive Directors in Corruption Inc., are threatening to rubbish the legacy of a good man and set Nigeria back to the days of impunity and lawlessness.

Ordinary Nigerians from Abakaliki to Kaura Namoda, Calabar to Kano, Enugu to Maiduguri, Lagos to ABUJA, want their "Baba" to clean the Augean stable. Everywhere you turn, the desire of Nigerians is to see some ineffective, ineffectual and treacherous heads roll. Let the heads roll. They want their Baba to root out those who do not understand what change means. Those who do not understand that Buhari means integrity should also be shown the door.

The achievements of the far-reaching reforms being implemented by the Buhari Administration will continue. But if the clogs in the wheel are cleared out, more would be achieved.
