Make sacrifice for people who risk their lives to protect others - Says Olisa

In his response, the ONELGA Council boss, Hon. (Barr) Osi Olisa attributed the crisis that erupted in ONELGA to selfish interest of enemies of the land.
Hon Olisa, however, thanked God for His mercies attracting peace to the local government.

The ONELGA Caretaker Chairman called on well meaning people of the area to show support in the funding of OSPAC, because according to him, OSPAC had brought confidence and stability to the area. He explained that it is only peace that can promote development in society; noting that crisis discourages investment and empowerment.

Hon Olisa also stated that OSPAC is a voluntary organization, its survival depends on the goodwill of well-meaning individuals and corporate bodies. He disclosed that so far, OSPAC had received cars, motorcycles, financial support from Egi, Egbema and Ndoni axis of the local government and wondered why Omoku was still lagging behind in this direction.

The CTC Chairman enjoined all and sundry to make sacrifice for those who are staking their lives to protect others' lives; adding that no amount of money or material spent on security that could either be too small or big. Hon Olisa further disclosed that the oil giant, Agip had promised to fix Ahoada-Omoku-Egbema road in no distant time.
