The silence < one>

          She was perplexed and confused on how everything went down in her marriage, without realizing the cause of the silence between her and her husband. With tears wailing down her cheeks, she could remember the promises her husband made to her while in courtship. ‘’ I will never make you cry for any reason, you are everything to me, and my life begins with you.’’ He said to her.

Moji and mike had as profound knowledge about marriage; in fact it got to a point in their marriage that other married couples envied them and wished they were like them

But what could have went wrong in their blissful and peaceful marriage as proposed by fantasy movies. They had a perfect marriage together, but along the line, their relationship started going down the drill.

It was on Sunday morning, they usually go to church together but it took everyone by surprise that they came alone. Moji had to enter public transport to go to church in order not to follow her husband.

During church service, they sat in separate seats; even the pastor noticed the silence between the couple. A concerned member of the church brought the issue to the pastor, although he doesn’t know the root of the problem between the couple.

The pastor whispered to mike; ‘’ I would love to see you and your wife now in my office’’. He left without any other word to mike.

Mike thought to himself; ‘’ how will I go and meet this woman and tell her that the pastor wants to see us; I can’t, instead I will send someone to pass the message to her’’. After so much thinking and analyzing how to walk up to his own wife, he finally made up his mind.

He sighted his wife from afar, discussing and laughing with her friends, he said without looking straight at her but his direction was focused on somewhere else; ‘’ hey! Woman, the pastor wants to see you at his office, meet me there.’’ He said as if he had water in his mouth and walked away.

Moji looked at him while he was walking away and shook her head and said; ‘’ what a man, I wished I married a beggar than ending up with this good for nothing, egoistic man called a husband’’.

Mojisola went to the office, and met her husband seated, she greeted the pastor and sat down. She was confused and was wondering what could be so important that the pastor called this urgent meeting between the two of them.

‘’is everything alright pastor, I got a message from mike that you wanted to see me, and my……’’, she said with a confused look on her face.
