MEDIATOR OF A BETTER COVENANT

We live in a world full of all kinds of covenants, the good ones and the evil ones, the ones we adhere to and others we lost track of. But there is one covenant that is above every other covenant, which we know about, but out of ignorance, we refused to acknowledge it.
This covenant was from a supernatural being to us ordinary beings. The covenant is an everlasting one and a free gift to us. This covenant is different from the covenant God had with Moses in the Old Testament. At that time, they were living under the law, but the covenant at God made with us is a covenant of Grace. He has taken away from the bondage of living under the law into his grace.
This covenant God made with us is not the same as that of Moses when God sent him to deliver the children of Israel out of Egypt.  During that time, no one can go into the ‘’ hollies of hollies’’ except the chief priest. But because we are under his grace, and everything is made free for us by God, we can go to him any point in time, without having to go through the chief priest to seek the face of God.
During the time of Moses, after God brought them out the hands of their captives, the Egyptians, they still did not abide by the covenant that God made with them, this action of theirs , made God angry and he disregarded them and withdrew his favor and the promise he made to their forefather, Abraham.
This same Christ Our Lord, the never changing one, the chief corner stone, our merciful Father, decided to renew his covenant with us (house of Israel). Heb 8 vs 10-12. With the new covenant with Christ, the first one was out of use, the one made during the time of Moses, although there was nothing wrong with it, but our disobedient attitude towards the words of Christ made the covenant, made us neglect and ignored it.
Notwithstanding, Christ is love and no one can take his place in our hearts, he would always find a way to bring us back to himself, his fatherly words and love he use to draw us closer and guide us through our endeavors, upon our hearts, because that is where he lies, he placed his laws in our hearts, in our inner most thoughts and through that, and blessed us with wisdom knowledge and understanding, so that we could be able to have a profound understanding of Christ and how he works. He promised to be gracious and merciful towards our sons and daughters, he promised ton always forgive and forget our unrighteousness, he gave us the most precious gift of eternal life, to always be our God , never to forsake or leave us alone.
God has given us that freedom, the liberty to always come to him, just like an earthly father and his son. He has established that covenant that we can go to him even with our uncleanliness.  He has established that relationship where we don’t have to sacrifice a ‘’Lamb or offer burnt sacrifices to cleanse ourselves from all unrighteousness’’. Ex 29:38-46.  We  are living under his grace not by law anymore, because he has made a better and new covenant with us, and has brought us out of the law, and has place his laws in our hearts because that is where he dwells.
He is a wonderful, marvelous and all sufficient God, an agent of peace, the messiah, and Love, the one with great promises, the one that never fails or changes, the one that never denies us no matter what we did. The one with abundant room for all, the ever merciful God. The one that accepts anyone who comes to him with an open and repentant hearts. The God who will never forsake sinners like us but rather, he will bring us into his marvelous light and on his mercy seat, he welcomes anyone to sit in convenience, the one who created us a Holy place where we can come in without fear in our heart but to  feel  his presence all around us.

The question we all have to ponder on his; with all these, do we abide by the covenant he made with us? Do we acknowledged that we are no longer living under the law by in his grace? The covenant of freedom and grace, or do we rather forsake his abundant grace and forget his covenant and everything he has done for us.  Have we forgotten the price that Jesus Christ paid on the cross of Calvary so that we can be free from sin and death? He died so we can live again and be redeemed.
Have we forsaken his words and ways, our hearts of worship, voices of praise and anointed tongues of power, power to heal and do supernatural exploits? For how long are we going to pretend the blood of Christ, continue to be ungrateful and unworthy of his faithfulness and grace? We therefore need to remedy ourselves with his amazing covenant, the one he created to give us a free and everlasting life him until eternity.
He is our mediator of covenant, he has given us his love, and the best covenant we cannot ever wish for, what more could we ask for, and he does it all but we still do not follow his laws. He has given us lots of gifts, what is our gift to Christ?
Payer points: Help us lord to remember that you are our mediator of better covenant. Help us to acknowledge your grace in our lives and to always be grateful towards you, and may we always live in your grace.
