After seven years, the musical relationship between Tiwa Savage and Don Jazzy’s Mavins Global has come to an end as the singer signed an exclusive global recording agreement with Universal music group, an international record label.
Tiwa Savage had a great run in 2018 as she made history as the first female to win the Best African Act at the MTV European Music Awards and also became the first African female to sell out at London’s Indigo.

Although 2019 has been a silent year for her, as she is yet to release an official single, this new announcement means her fans can expect some new music from her.
Don Jazzy took to his Instagram page on Thursday to announce that the singer would forever be remembered and cherished at Mavin.
He wrote:

When I got pregnant I was nervous to tell you so I decided to tell you at the airport when we were traveling for a show. I figured you couldn’t really say much in a public place 🤣🙈 but then you told me you already knew and had already been thinking of a plan to keep my brand going while I took some time out.
