It was a sad event to the family of former Senator Umar Hambagda who represented South Borno from 2003- 2011 lost his daughter,Mrs. Hafsat Umar Hambaga who was involved in a ghastly motor accident along the Kaduna – Abuja highway some days ago.
Reports has it that she was with her daughter and son before the incident occurred which claimed her life and that of her daughter .
Sadly,Her daughter named Sakina, an undergraduate student of a university – was said to have been burnt beyond recognition in the accident, while her son is critically injured and receiving medical attention at a hospital whose name was not revealed.
The deceased,Hafsat Umar Hambagda was a graduate of the University of Maiduguri and worked with the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) in Kaduna State.
What a great lost. May their gentle souls rest in peace.
