Sponsored Post/ foodaffairs/ --what you should know about water

When we were kids we learnt about water being among the six classes of food but that left me confused for a while because back then I believed food is anything we chew not drink but as time flies I began to understand why anything edible in liquid form can be classified into  food .

Whenever we feel thirsty, we rush for soft drinks thinking the soft drink will quench our thirst. It does for a while but water is far better than taking soft drinks to quench our thirsts.

Did you know that your body weight is approximately 60 percent water? Your body uses water in all its cells, organs, and tissues to help regulate its temperature and maintain other bodily functions.

Because your body loses water through breathing, sweating, and digestion, it's important to rehydrate by drinking fluids and eating foods that contain water.

This water we see and take everyday does so many things in our body that we do not know about. Below are some of the importance of water. They are...

* Water Protects Your Tissues, Spinal Cord, and Joints
* Water Helps Your Body Remove Waste
* Water Aids in Digestion
* Water Prevents You From Becoming Dehydrated

The question now is "How Much Water Do You Need"? We might think we just need a glass of water to consume. The answer is very simple Drink enough water in the morning and especially when you are thirsty do not avoid drinking water .
