Camp rules and regulations

Camp is a sweet place but sometimes boring during some activities that requires us to be at the lecture room for a good 4 hrs without stepping out. There are also some activities that will make you n

You will get to meet and  mingle with youths around Nigeria, it is a fun place  to stay because you will get to meet different people with different characters .

Back then in Camp we formed a platoon called platoon 6 . In this platoon we all have a way of relieving ourselves the stress of early morning drills. After that,  we will get enough energy to report back to our various activities.

In all these fun,  there are  rules and regulations guarding  us in the camp which we must abide or else,  the soldiers or the NYSC officials will take drastic measures on you that will either build you up or tear you down.  The rules are easy to follow and can also be broken if you are not ready to be in the camp. The rules are...

1)You most be completely kitted once you are in the camp .That is: Your white uniforms, NYSC cap, canvas  and your ID card.

2) You must not wear accessories like big ear ring,  finger ring (you must be married)  ,leg chains,  nose rings and so on,  once you are seen wearing any of these things mentioned above,  you are on your own.
3 ) You most be were others are at all times. No hanging around the camp premises. 

4) The bingo is used to alert corps members especially those who sleeps like a log of wood .  The first sound is to wake everyone up and the second sound is for you to start matching to the parade ground.  Once you hear the last sound,  you must leave your room to the parade ground, ready or not ready,it is no one's business. 

5) Once your I. D card (s) has been given to you,  you must hang it around your neck at all time except when you want to sleep, if not they will see you as an impersonator.

6.) Dont take things that are  not yours,  once you do that and you are  caught, you might be punished or even decamped.

7.) When you are passing through the military zone in the camp, DO NOT WALK,DOUBLE UP.  If not once the soldiers spot you,  you will be punished severely.


8.)No smoking or drinking of alcohol  in or around the hostels except in mami.

9) Ladies!  Ladies!  Hmmmn!  Shine your eyes and your brain ooo . Some guys are just there to send you home before you finish your camping.  Don't jump on every guy that asks you out. 


10) You must report back to your various halls once it is bedtime and no noise making of any kind while others are sleeping.

11)This one is very very important because many Corps members have been decamped due to this. You are free to be  friendly with anybody you see in the  camp even with the soldiers. But for the love birds you shouldn't be caught making out anywhere in the camp for that  3weeks you are going to be in the camp because if you are  caught, you will look for the next available bus or flight   to your place. 

Please my friends abide to the camp rules and regulations so that you can be among those that they will dispatch. It will be very sad for you to get to camp and the next thing is that you have been decamped.  It will be a waste of effort and time.  

Just endure and have fun as you wish but put all these rules at the back of your head.
