How can we have hungry thieves as policemen- says an angry facebook user

 

An angry facebook user  by the name Precious Silk, took to Facebook and posted her experience on her timeline about how she was delayed on the road by some police men in a bid to collect bribe from drivers who plies Omoku  road , Rivers State,

 

''I have always been of the opinion that the police in Omoku are the brains behind the crimes in the community... How can we have hungry thieves as policemen and expect the community to grow or be crime free? Instead of joining hands to fight corruption, they are the viruses in the system. Just this morning as I was on my way to school, these police men wasted my time because they had to extort 50 naira from the bikeman, and other bike men and keke fighting for their daily bread... What type of government is this? The police men don't even know their work again. Extortion should not be tolerated by civilians, it's the highest level of criminality...''
