Food that aids sleeping

Some people find it difficult to sleep due to various reasons, but it is important to sleep because it keeps your brain sharp, your immune system strong, your skin looking youthful and lowers the risk of heart disease and high blood pressure. This is all based on proper research. I know some people may have been looking for remedy so as to get enough sleep but as a food technologist and based on research there are possible food solutions to that sleeplessness.

1.Fish
Most fish and especially salmon, halibut and tuna—boost vitamin B6, which is needed to make melatonin (a sleep-inducing hormone triggered by darkness), according to an article published in the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences.

2.Yogurt
Dairy products like yogurt and milk boost healthy doses of calcium—and there’s research that suggests being calcium-deficient( means lacking calcium) may make it difficult to fall asleep.

3.Whole Grains- Barley and other whole grains are rich in magnesium—and consuming too little magnesium may make it harder to stay asleep, reported the Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine . So consuming enough  magnesium helps you sleep.

4.Bananas
Bananas, well-known for being rich in potassium, are also a good source of Vitamin B6, which is needed to make melatonin (a sleep-inducing hormone triggered by darkness), according to an article published in the
Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences.

5.Fortified Cereals
Fortified cereals also boast vitamin B6, which is needed to make melatonin (a sleep-inducing hormone triggered by darkness), according to an article published in the
Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences.

Am pretty sure that we can relate well with this little solution of mine which is still based on research though..
Thanks for taking time to read this little food solution article
