Sen. Ike role in IPOB leader release

Report has confirmed that the  Deputy President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu was the brain behind the release of the leader of the indigenous 

People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, who had been held in detention for nearly two years for alleged treason.

The Deputy President contacted Igbos of different social strata nationwide to meet the bail conditions handed down by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Mr. Nnamdi Kanu was finally set free on Friday after meeting his bail condition of bringing a Jewish priest and the rest of the conditions given to him.
