Six suspected killers of Kwara state farmer, Mrs Florence Ede has been arrested by the Kwara state police command.
The news of the incident was announce by the state commissioner of police, Olusola Amore while briefing the newsmen on Thursday in Illorin.
The commissioner released the identity of the suspects which includes:Kofi Kawku, Ali Dauda, Gomina Umaru, Ali Sabi, Abubarka Basira and Ayuba Adamu.
Amore said that the suspects were arrested on November 23 for allegedly inflicting pains on the victim to death inside her farm at Yashikira in Baruten Local Government Area of the state.
He explained that the suspects being laborers employed by the deceased, conspired and killed her and carted away 11 bags of rice.
The commissioner said the suspects were later arrested by the police, while the stolen rice belonging to the victim and the Golf car used in carrying the commodity were recovered
The commissioner said that all the suspects will be charged to court after the investigation has been completed.
