Four policemen were arrested in Adamawa State over a villager's death

Four policemen have been arrested because they were been suspected of being behind the death of a village in Fufore Local Government area in Adamawa state.

The commissioner of police , Mr Musa Kimo, said in Yola yesterday that Police, Mr Musa Kimo, said in Yola on Thursday that the suspects, who were operatives of the state Anti Robbery Squad, were currently under investigation.

He said that the villager was put to death by the police men who has been arrested for ridding a bicycle , which was banned in the state.

The commissioner gave a warning that the command will no longer tolerate any kind of human rights violation and any  form of criminal activities.
He further explained that the main objectives  of the complain unit to receive and solve all complaints of police professional misconduct emanating from policing activities.
