The way you lay your bed.....

We live in a society where little things don’t even matter anymore, a society where teenagers don’t have any morals, no respect for their elders and a society where dirty words are used and seen as nothing.
Have you ever asked yourself this questions; will my character take me to my destination?, my treatment towards others, is it good or bad, the foundation I am laying today, will it be firm or shaky?
Most of us lack simple etiquette like saying; I am sorry, excuse me, please, forgive me, thanks and so on. All these simple things that don’t matter to us will matter one day
Many at times when I look at how young adults talk to their parents, most especially the ladies, I used to remember one thing and that thing is that someday, they will also become parents and their children will also talk to them the same way.
Sometimes we do forget that the way you treat your neighbor matters a lot, even a stranger, your friend, your enemies, all these matters a lot.
Sometimes we ladies do think that our beauty will attract a good man, but the truth is beauty lies in the inside which is our character towards people and everything that revolves around us.
The foundation you lay for yourself is yourself determines how your future will be, how you lay your bed is how you will lie on it. We look down on other people, forgetting that tomorrow is there, that lecturer that you once insulted, hissed at, called her names or that lady that you looked at and say to her that she is nothing, or that woman you saw and you did not think she needs to be greeted, or that house help you have around ,and you think she is nothing and cant amount to anything, you looked at  her and say to her:'' that this is where you will end up.''
Always put it at the back of your mind that whatever we to today, is how our future will be, our future is our hands, let’s not destroy it with pride, humble yourselves so that God himself will lift you higher.

This is a  short story of a young lady named Immaculate who thinks she can claim everything in life and command people as she wish. Her parents are bastardy rich and wealthy that everything she asks for is given to her.But the problem she has upon all her beauty and money is that she lacks manners.Nobody means anything to her not even her parents. And she happens to be the only child.
To cut the long story short, her parents had an accident and passed away. No friends, no enemies to keep her company,or wipe her company even the house helps around all left, and no one wants to be around her.
And now Ema as she is fondly called by her parents is now a shadow of her own, living in darkness with no Light to shine upon her.

******
This young lady is lying on the bed she laid in the past, the bed she laid is rough and not well laid, because she has forgotten that nothing lasts forever , nothing even the wealth of our parents. This young lady is suffering from the bed she laid with her own hands.

Let’s us endeavor to respect authority and treat others with love and kindness because we never can tell who God will use when we need help both now and in  the future  , lets respect those in authority, by doing so our homes in the future will be a place of peace and harmony.
