Youths and Drugs
Nigeria is blessed with vast land, and there are many opportunities for the youths to engage themselves in.
What will one do when a man gave out his land out for cultivation, and it was used to plant weed? It's a crime that needs to be addressed. In essence, we have to be aware about what is happening in our environment because the farmer and those he leased the land to will be arrested.
Can we say that it's only the youths that are engages into drugs? No!Adults are also involved in drugging. If adults are into drugs, why not the youths because youths are looking up to the adults.
If we can have laws in our society that evolves about youth and drugs. If there are laws that are made to penalize any youth caught in illicit drugs, Nigeria will be a drug free society.
The problems sometimes is that most Nigerians are scared of what danger they will go through after informing National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA), but the case is different because there is safety guaranteed for them and at the same time a life will be saved.
We all have a duty to play in protecting our youths from drugs. That's why we have to catch them young or we will never catch them when they are old.
